Our top 15 of 2015: 1956 Chev Nomad

20 December 2015

Over the course of 2015, we’ve featured no less than 69 cars, so when it came time to narrow down to our top 15 of 2015, we seriously struggled. Below is what we narrowed it down to. With the standard of builds being completed in the country skyrocketing, it was no easy feat to choose, but essentially we looked at what cars we’d love to have parked in our own garages, and this is what we came up with, in no particular order. Here’s another of our Top 15, and you can check out an earlier listing here

Mark Dufty — 1956 Chev Nomad

The best way to describe Mark Dufty’s flawless 1956 Chev Nomad is ‘built to be driven’. Dufty, an ex circuit racer and panel shop owner poured his years of knowledge into the car to make sure that it drove every bit as well as it looked. The finishing touch is one of the cleanest engine bays we’ve ever featured, with nothing but the engine and radiator left exposed under the hood. The built 454ci big block certainly makes the Nomad no slouch on the road either.
