Our top 15 of 2015: 1932 Ford pickup

21 December 2015

Over the course of 2015, we’ve featured no less than 69 cars, so when it came time to narrow down to our top 15 of 2015, we seriously struggled. Below is what we narrowed it down to. With the standard of builds being completed in the country skyrocketing, it was no easy feat to choose. We looked at what cars we’d love to have parked in our own garages, and this is what we came up with — in no particular order. Here’s another of our Top 15, and you can check out an earlier listing here

Janet ‘Flick’ Reid — 1932 Ford pickup

When you own a world renowned hot rod shop, chances are that if you decide to build something for yourself, it’s going to be impressive. Janet Reid’s ‘32 is exactly that. Viewed in its raw state, the car oozes excellent fabrication and clever tricks that will likely go unnoticed once the paint goes on. From the EFI small block Ford up front to the polished quick change diff out the back, the driveline and suspension set-up is equally as detailed. Could this car follow in the famous footsteps of Reid’s last personal car, ‘BILIT’? We certainly think so.
