Think you could hold your own on the track? Try the Hyper Stimulator experience

29 April 2016

So you’ve tried go-karting, you’ve played paintball, gone bowling, drunk the pub dry, and seen what strippers look like when the lights come on, so what else is there left to do on a boy’s night out? The answer is head along to one of Hyper Stimulator’s two branches for the most realistic racing experience money can buy.

Hyper Stimulator is the simulator system used by more professional race drivers than any other. Names like Shane van Gisbergen, Fabian Coulthard, and Mitch Evans are all Hyper Stimulator users, and advocate them as a training tool unlike any other.

Hyper Stimulator’s Auckland branch has been a hit with professional racers, weekend warriors, and stag do and corporate event organizers for over a decade now, thanks to the option of having up to 12 drivers racing head-to-head. The Wellington facility is newer, yet shares the same high-tech equipment, with eight Hyper Stimulator race car simulators ready to do battle. Or better still, if you’ve got friends, family, or workmates at both locations, you can link the whole lot up for a real deal 20-car line-up.

Besides every racetrack in New Zealand, Hyper Stimulator gives you the chance to race on a number of major racetracks from around the globe. Venues like Brands Hatch, Bathurst, Monaco, Indy, and countless more can all be driven in your choice of vehicle.

Chances are that if a car has ever been on a racetrack, then it’s available to drive through Hyper Stimulator, with every vehicle having its own unique driving characteristics and sound as close as possible to the real deal.

The Auckland facility is located just off the Southern Motorway at 59A East Tamaki Road, Papatoetoe, and the Wellington facility is located within The Lanes Bowling Lounge, 234–238 Wakefield Street in the city. The staff at both venues are motorsport enthusiasts themselves, and make the experience an easy one, whether it’s just a couple of mates wanting to prove a point, a stag do, larger corporate event, or if you wish to get involved in one of their regular racing leagues. If you’re over 10 years old, then you meet all the requirements. Just remember to leave your idea of what a simulator should be at the door, and you’ll be blown away with what you find.
