We opened ourselves up to criticism, or calls of bullshit, when we openly stated that Ian Neary’s Plymouth GTX is the best muscle car in New Zealand. But when we started sorting through the build pics of the car for this gallery, our reasons for making such a big call were only reinforced.
You can find the full story on the car in the December 2016 issue of NZV8 (Issue No. 139), on sale October 31, and we assure you that it’s well worth a look to see the car in its finished glory. But for now, sit back, relax, and take your time to go through the shots of the car’s evolution, as it’s truly amazing.
In fact, the build is so amazing, that we’ve had to split it down into separate parts, as to not overload the internet with it in one hit.
Here’s the evolution of the exterior, our apologies that the order isn’t quite right.
