We get a closer look at kustom culture in the place it all began — California

The West Coast Kustoms Crusin’ Nationals took place at the Santa Maria Fairpark, Santa Maria, California, over the weekend of May 23–24. Dylan Smith, from USA Vehicle Inspections, was there to check it out.

The event has become one of the best on the kustom calendar, including a night cruise, show and shine, swap meet, and more — open to all pre-’61 American vehicles.

With the focus being on kustoms, many legends of the scene are usually present and this year was no exception. But while the people watching are great, it’s the cars that really make the event stand out.

Here’s just a selection of the amazing machines on display. Big thanks to Dylan for sharing them with us.
