Over the course of 2015, we’ve featured no less than 69 cars, so when it came time to narrow down to our top 15 of 2015, we seriously struggled. Below is what we narrowed it down to. With the standard of builds being completed in the country skyrocketing, it was no easy feat to choose. We looked at what cars we’d love to have parked in our own garages, and this is what we came up with — in no particular order. Here’s another of our Top 15, and you can check out an earlier listing here.
Tony Gera — 1970 Ford Mustang
Tony Gera’s Mustang may look like a tidy example of a ’70 Mustang fastback, painted in Grabber Orange, but the reason it’s made this list is for so much more than that — it’s one of the best-presented quickest street cars in the country, and one of few that actually see regular street duties. With a Dave Moyle–built 480ci big block Ford — based around a two-bolt mains block, we might add — and a dash of nitrous, Tony’s run a PB of 9.73 seconds at 143.40mph. However, the beautifully finished Mustang is more often seen with the roll cage removed, and the back seat bolted firmly in place — in our books, that’s cool!
